RECLAIMED COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY INC.

My journey toward becoming a therapist was birthed from my own encounter with trauma.  I have experienced disappointments along with feelings of hopelessness and despair.  It was within these difficult seasons that I found strength and direction from mentors and therapists who took the time to listen, to validate my pain, and to offer tools for rebuilding what was broken. 

As I considered what I wanted my counselling journey to represent, I was guided to the name "reclaimed".  A word that portrays hope, beauty, and restoration, despite the pain and brokenness of the past. This is the same hope, beauty and restoration that I want to offer clients - to show them that no person or journey is ever too broken for healing and restoration to take place. The Kintsugi Art video below illustrates the story behind my logo, the hope that I found for myself, and the hope that I have for others.
